Since the advent of modern product design, designers have utilized paper as a quick and efficient method to create initial prototypes for sketching, testing proportions, aesthetics, and concepts. Paper remains an omnipresent material in the design process. “Ode to Paper” is a product collection that seeks to delve into the distinct properties of paper, using it as a wellspring of inspiration rather than solely a medium for visualizing ideas. Instead of merely bending or folding it, I aim to employ paper as a canvas to manifest my thoughts. These thoughts encompass products that are not crafted from paper itself, but can be linked to the material and its characteristics.
