The material & solutions library gives a broad overview of standard and exceptional materials, connections and machining methods. It wants to leverage new “material solutions” and “process applications”.

​Many materials are available in the IDC shop. Use them for experimentation, prototyping or production in the makerspace and different IDC labs.

With the material & solutions library we want to:

• Inspire: A (new) material or production process is often the start for product innovation.

• Create learning experiences: The ample information on each material is the starting point of a whole learning experience.

• Connect: It's a platform to promote local materials&companies and connect with material innovation worldwide.

• Consult: IDC material experts and methodologies leverage new materials, processes and product innovations
